The Almanac’s long-term weather forecasts
predict a cooler-than-normal spring in the Northeast, in Minnesota, in the Desert Southwest, and along much of the Pacific coast, and a warmer-than-normal one elsewhere.
Rainfall will be above normal from California northeastward to the Upper Midwest and near or below normal in other regions.

The strawberries in my yard are starting to ripen-Piper loves the fresh fruit more than any other kid I've ever seen or perhaps I haven't had access to the fruit like I do now. Anyway it is delightful to watch her pop the juicy berries (straw and blue) into her little toothy mouth and grin as the sweetness coats her tongue."
