At the time of this spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins. This is also known as the Sap Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins.

Oh baby, let's tap some trees and boil some oily stuff into liquid sunshine that has no other comprable taste i have found.
Nice! We have a couple that stay all year but most go south and they are finally here. My daughter visited a tapping farm the other week for a field trip. They were amazed by the process. Hope they make it your way soon!
